Emma Romell (roh-MELL)
PhD student in Sociology, University of Wisconsin-Madison
Hello!
I am a graduate student in Sociology at UW-Madison, where I am also affiliated with the Center for Demography and Ecology, the Collaborative for Reproductive Equity, and the Institute for Research on Poverty. I study relationships among family members, as well as relationships between families and other social institutions. I am also interested in health and health disparities, including issues of reproductive health equity and access. My work has been published in Contraception.
I hold an M.S. in Sociology and a B.A. with Distinction in Sociology, both from UW-Madison. In my free time, I love to cook, watch low-stakes reality tv, and, when time allows, camp and hike in the Southwest.
